Math 16A Section 3: Short Calculus I (Fall 2017)

Textbook:
Ron Larson's Calculus: An Applied Approach (9th Edition).
Prerequisite:
A score of at least 30 on the Mathematics Placement Exam with a trig score of at least 2. Those not meeting this requirement will be administratively dropped from the course.
Calculus room:
See the department schedule for dates/times. Open to all Math 16ABC students.
As described in the course catalog, Math 16A is a first course in differential calculus. Specific topics include functions, limits, continuity, differentiation, and a variety of applications.

Homework
Weekly homework assignments will consist of two parts. The first part consists of textbook problems selected from each section covered in class. Your solutions to the textbook problems will not be turned in for credit. The second part consists of a short worksheet assigned each week, to be submitted for feedback.
