Textbook: Discrete Mathematics and its Applications, 7th Edition, by Kenneth Rosen.
Math 302 is a course on discrete mathematics. As described in the course catalog, we will cover formal structures for describing data, algorithms and computing devices. We will also study the theory and applications of sets and algebraic structures. More specifically, we will cover Chapters 1 (§ 1-8), 2 (§1-4), 3 (§1-2), 5 (§1-3), 6 (§1,3-5), 8 (§1-5), and 9 (§1-6) from Rosen, plus additional topics as time permits. For a detailed timeline, see the course webpage. Below are some course-related resources.

I will post links to the homework assignments here. If you have questions about course material, including practice problems, do not hesistate to ask me in class, stop by my office hours, or email me.

Exam Reviews
Problem sets posted here are not to be turned in, but instead are to help review. However, if you have questions about problems on these assignments, do not hesistate to ask me in class, stop by my office hours, or email me. Please note that simply doing these problems will not guarantee a passing grade on the exam. You should use these problems as a guide to help determine which topics you feel most comfortable with and which topics you should spend more time reviewing.
